Great place to have a picnic, then walk the various Nature Trails, or take a walk on the Pier, even swim in the Lake.
As state parks go it's OK. I didn't notice any camp sites that have a lake view. They have the one small pier. I honestly have not tried a trail there yet so I won't comment on that. Fine for a picnic or even a quiet camping weekend. Not much to do there. You can fish. And you can get in the water but I got in at the end of the pier and walked very far out and the water never came up much more than my knees. It is a very pretty lake and would be great for kayaking.
Very peaceful and very quiet. On a Tuesday afternoon at the overlook there were no boats in sight and ply about 4 kids swimming.
Nice park, lots of unique natural wonders, unfortunately they are currently refurbishing some of the trails.
